Hi, one of them is mine, I don't know who the other ones is, as I can't see a name, but it does look familiar! but on mine I have got my name and link there! can I strangle him now? lol
Hi, Polly yes I just checked! what a bloody cheek! lol I am mad now!
Thank you Polly for recognising it, and thank you Nell for bringing it to my attention.
The copier is obviously extremely stupid because this hub was not written to make money - has anyone looked at the keyword competition for those keywords? - I wonder if this is payback for commenting on the thread the other day "serious attack on Hubpages" or something similar.
Whatever, the guy is a useless waster. Why copy a hub that doesn't make money? Can't think on anything more stupid or time-wasting, so not a serous problem, Whoever the copier is, he's obviously THICK!
Hi, Izzy, just thought you had better know. It seems that I have been using URLs wrong all this time! I didn't realise.
Hey don't worry about it! I always use the address bar, but copying from the foot of the page is good practise for yourself when you want to promote your hubs - which I never do properly.
Thanks again Nell.
If you hadn't started a thread about this I would never have known! Mind you the link carries all the latest 60 day challenge hub rss feeds....he's maybe done us a favor! He's still a prick all the same
I will strangle him with you Nell. Gee the cheek of them I say.
(BP quickly puts her gloves on as to leave no evidence on the victim)
Hi, the other link is Izzy! I have just e-mailed her to tell her!
oh good, I was going to email her. I just checked...he is following everyone who is active in the forums right now...
Hi, Jane, the stupidest thing about it is the fact that he came over and left a comment on one of my hubs! if he hadn't i would never have known! stupid and a thief! argggghhh! lol
You don't need to post this sort of thing here. Admin prefers to be emailed directly about Hub authors who copy other Hub authors.
Hi, Freya, yes he copied two so far, but I am not sure what they mean about the trackers? I only copied and pasted at the bottom of his page?
nice to see you!
Isn't Hub Pages had put strict rule on something like this? I guess some people just really do not have pride as writer.
Just Flag his profile, Nell.
Hi, Freya, I just jumped in with both feet as usual, but I was so mad! I did flag him, but I would have strangled him if I could have got my hands on him!
This had happened to me once. There is new Hubber copied all content in one of my Hub comment capsule into his and created new hub from it. I asked him to take responsiblity and he turned down that Hub. The problem solved but the the unpleasant feeling stayed.
I will lend my hands to help you strangled him for sure, Nell.
Do you always use the "link to this page" option? when you need to share a hub?
(thats my guess?)
Hi, yes don't tell me I have been wrong all this time? sorry if I am a dumbass just thought it was right!
But, the purpose of that button is to insert a tracker into the link,
chekc out the help center to learn what that means
99% of the time thats the way to go.
But since it is a promotional technique it is frowned upon an din fact disallowed in the hp forum
I saw your profile so my assumption is that you always use that link.
Just copy the adress bar/url bar when you need to share a hub in the hp forum
also you should look into what an "anchored keyword link" is, so you can pretty up your profile a little
Did you flag his profile or contact HP staff directly another way so they are aware and can shut this idiot down?
Sorry to hear about what has been going on with Hub stealing. I have just reported the Street View hub that he stole from Nell for being exactly that - stolen.
I have made a note of this pratt's name and will not be accepting any comments, following, etc from him. Hope he/she gets booted.
What is wrong with people? That is so sad. Cheaters never win!
I'm really surprised that HubPages.com didn't recognize this as copied content.
Last post just to say, sorry for doing the URLs wrong I will go and sort mine out tomorrow, and thanks for putting up with my rant! but I still want to kill him!
Can anyone flag the hub Nell brought to our attention?
It's mine and I have no idea why but I can't flag it - it just hangs.
I already flagged it, Izzy. And no worries for anyone on the URLs. I just thought there was something strange going on. But now I see it's just from using the "Share" button. Sorry!
Was about to see it when the link is not more active! Man
Gonna flag him if I see him! Piff
*edit: even the username is no more active @_@
I understand that it was just a coincidence that this hub theft was found. Is it possible to watch for stuff like this?
Pleased to announce that I have just tried to view the culprit's profile and got "user has been banned" message.
Both are no longer published and believe the wanker is gone, the nerve

I am absolutely gobsmacked! Not only has this hubber just started about an hour ago, he came over to one of my hubs and made a comment! what an idiot! I said thanks to him and automatically went over to check him out and what did I find? he had literally copied my hub word for word, moved the...

I just discovered the one of my hubs was plagerized on a site called TalkBlog.info. It must have occurred recently, as I haven't received a duplicate content warning yet. (I was checking to see where my hub was ranked in Google and came across the copied page.) It looks like most of the...

I just found out that one of my hubs was copied into someone else's blog on YouSayToo.com. I saw other hubs from fellow hubbers listed as well in the same person's blog (Scorpion360). I read the site's terms of service, and it seems like they are only supposed to have unique and original content,...

Yesterday I got an email from a hubber pointing me to an article on Bubblews which was copied from my HP account. I have emailed Bubblews and they removed it. You should check the site to see if any of your hubs have been copied there.
