even when not published?
It took me several days to get one hub done, and during that time, the hub went up 10 points.
Honestly, I'm confused.
Your hub score is determined during the publihing stage according to its relevance in the search engines. The search engines record the number of persons searching for the tags you have used or possibly hubpages gives value to the content not yet published by recognising that it is not a quickly built hub and it is original content that may matter to generic searches.
Just a theory though, not derived through any evidence.
