So I wrote a sales Hub about a college football team and included the "fight song" in the Hub, Does this explain why it has a low score of 46 while getting 30 visits so far today? (because the fight song can be considered copied?)
The response of readers to your hub and no uniqueness in the hub can be the reason of low hub score
I never thought of sales hubs as real unique anyway...but thanks! I was just curious as I have NEVER had a Hub score below 60 at the start....does this mean that my Hub is worth nothing even if someone clicks or buys?
Has it been marked as duplicate content?
For the amount of the hub that it is, I don't think that would be a big issue, although it may be.
Also, chances are that the views are your own views as you edit the hub OR people seeing it on the hub hopper or even follower views.
Do you have any external views? (google, yahoo etc.)
Remember - score doesn't influence anything outside hubpages.
The hub was published only six hours ago, and the current score is 48. It doesn't mean a thing. It will probably correct itself.
Oops, didn't even check that.
Spot on. Wait a few days and the score will even out.
Thanks guys- as for it only being 6 hours old? That isn't correct because I was sleeping then (1 am)- I submitted this Hub yesterday morning...but that doesn't matter. No I did not have a duplicate content warning, thank goodness, but I will give it time...thanks guys!
"Submitted" for approval or published? Your profile says six hours...
Thank you! Then I've learned something new about HubPages' time stamps.
I just checked my profile and it says 14 hours ago.....hmmmm?
It is getting weirder still. Look at this, now the information has been updated:
Various stats update at different times, and there are occasional glitches in the updating process. I have had one number show on some of my stats in the forums, while a different figure showed on my profile - for half a day or more.
The hubscore can take many days to come up to where you think it should be. Most of them start out at 50, so if yours have never started below 60, you have had unusual numbers before now. Just wait a couple of days before really freaking out.
I had my hub scores fluctuating when I first published them, then it evens out over time. Am not too sure of the correlation between the hubscore and the number of visits
It has now dropped to 44! Well... I havent seen this before!

I have 3 hub that are not published yet. The thing is their scores are going up. Two of them are in the 60's and the third that was posted saved unpublished 2 days ago is at 55 with 4 views? How is this possible?

As asked in title. I know it's subjective, but in your opinion, what is the lowest score you would allow an article to remain up before editing or un-publishing it?Understand that I am new here, so putting feelers out on how to do it right!

One or two of my hubs have fallen victim to the "does not meet quality standards" empty bubble. In one case, I imagine it is because the hub falls under the "purely personal" category, better suited to a blog. That's fine. I can move it. (It's an older hub...
