and this one takes over the whole page

    its meyerscleanday/twittermoms

it may actually be a mouseover (that was triggered when i anadvertently moved the cursor over it, like a virtual land mine!) - but its still a crappy form of advertising.

i hope this isnt an allowed ad platform at HP and is just an ad that slipped in!

    how about some advertising standards!

Ew.  We'll get this taken care of ASAP, sunforged.  Thanks for reporting.

I actually reported an ad similar to that recently and was sent a link on how to opt out of htese advertisements, I think my concern was mis-interpreted though as I don't really care personally, just don't want my visitors hit by this kind of stuff!

I just got hit with the same Meyers ad. After closing the popup, there was another Meyers ad at the top of the hub with a video playing. Also got the pop up this morning.

You're lucky.  The minute I publish any hubs they seem inundated with dirty young girls in tight T shirts and adverts that verge on filth.

I'm then too embarrassed to promote them until adsense works out what my page is about!

Yeah, I am sure it is the embarrassment taking up all that time tongue
