How do you delete an answer someone wrote

   Someone put a very rude, mean answer on one of my question's and I want it off but i cant figure out how to do that... Can someone please help... Thanks

   You can't. If it is attacking you, report it to the team. Otherwise, only the poster can delete it, and there may be a specified time range that the person can delete it. I'm not sure.
   
   By the way, I checked out your question, and none of the answers appeared rude or attacking you in any way. There's nothing you can do. When you ask questions, be prepared to get answers you don't like.
   
   Also, Hubpages isn't a service to ask questions. If you only want to ask questions, go to Yahoo Answers.

   I agree completely, Whitney. I also noticed that all of the answers except one had been voted down, which I found unsual.

      W.E. I thought that was weird too. I'm sure that either the one answer not voted down, voted the others down, or the person only liked that one answer and voted the rest down because they disagree with her. I only skimmed the answers to see if any were truly rude and offensive.
      
      I wish that there was something that HP could do to prevent the one-time-question askers from posting questions. It creates clutter in the 'Answers' section. This is not a place to ask questions only like Yahoo Answers, and other places. I would like to see more moderation and regulations for the section.

   It was dabeaner who posted, and he/she seems to take pride in being rude and stupid. I agree with what you said, not the type of question that belongs on HubPages.
