Just saying I'm back on the forum, I will be ignoring religion and politics for my own sanity
welcome back. we missed you. at least they're not quite as abusive as youtube comments!! although some sound like that mentality. last night I read that only 144,000 are getting in heaven.
I agree that sometimes a self imposed forum ban is necessary.
Welcome back UW
Insanity is as insanity does. Not for the faint-hearted. Or sane
Oh, it's good to have you back. I've found that you can get into lots of fights without going into those other forums, so be careful!
Perhaps we can have book talk again. I love my nook more every day. How's it going with the kindle.
Still loving my Kindle. I went and bought an iPad too but the Kindle is still best for reading. I have gotten back into the habit of reading every night before sleep, it is doing wonders for me
So who invited you?
No, just kidding. Good to have you back - I have mostly been staying out also, but some things are just so outrageous...
Welcome back, UW. I try to stay away from the religious forum too. I thought of something the other day. I see quite a few people complaining about how the religious posts seem to dominate the front page of hubitivity. They wouldn't if we had more stuff being posted in other forums. We (the non-participants) have to out-post them in other topics to help bury their posts and keep them from appearing to be the focus of this site.
Hi UW, we have started a pool as to how long you can stay away from religion and politics...
...I already lost.

I find the politics and religion forums too subjective. A philosophy forum would cover all the issues that those two subjects do not. If say I wanted to write about animal rights it would have to be something in recent(ish) political debate such as fox-hunting in order for it to fit into the...

I recently joined HP a week ago and I have begun to understand the overall concept of this website. I am excited to see what my writing can produce both in terms of an audience and revenue.I was hoping I might hear from some Hubbers in response to this forum post with any tips or suggestions for a...
