I have not made a single penny from Amazon and would like to hear your experience.
1. If someone (without an Amazon account) saw an Amazon product and click through an ad from your hubpage, Then the person went on to create an account and made the purchase later on. Will you (the hubber) get credit for the purchase?
2. If someone (an Amazon account holder) saw an ad from your hub, and bought an Amazon product, will you get the credit?
Is it better off to eliminate the Amazon links and let Adsense to take over?
If someone clicks through to Amazon from an ad on your hub, you get credit for their purchases over the subsequent 24 hours. If they put something in their shopping cart but don't buy it right away, you still get credit as long as they purchase in the subsequent 89 days. There are a few additional caveats, but that's the basic principle.
I took a look at your hubs, and I think you're better off with AdSense. To really make money with Amazon, you have to write sales-focused hubs around products.
It is possible to do both, of course! Some of my hubs earn well on both Adsense and Amazon. But this may be the exception rather than the rule!

In the past I relied solely on Adsense to earn income from Hubpages, however this year I was able to finally open a PayPal account, so I signed up for the Hubpages Ad program. As expected, I saw a drop in my Adsense earnings, but now it's practically non-existent. I was earning a couple dollars...

Hi folks! I am thinking about establishing another hub persona in order to sell stuff. As I have 140 hubs now, and it's getting a bit cluttered, I'd like to stick to informational hubs on my regular hubs, but use the other to heavy up on the Amazon stuff. The question is - if I become, say Mrs. D....

When I signed up for HubPages, things were done differently. I may have signed up with an amazon ID, that is now defunct. I am wondering now, if the new way references the ID I signed up with; unfortunately I can see no way to check. Can someone provide me insight on this please?

I've looked everywhere to find the answer before having to post.. I apologize if it seems like a silly question.I have a HP account along with AdSense... and it's doing well. Lately I've been thinking about opening a new HP account for other topics I can write about. I know I can have more...

Does adsense pay attention to click-though rates and sales? My lens (now a hub) on king mackerel fishing only receives about 50 views a month. But it had a nearly 30 click-outs each month, resulting in 3-4 sales. I would have had decent earnings but the 'Great Purge' over in squid...

Hi I just joined hubpage 5 days ago and I have some following questions:1. How do you promote your amazon and ebay affiliate products in your hubs? Do they just appear like google adsense? or you have to manually do the pasting of html in your hubs?(I think there is no html available in hubs)2. I...
