Why are 5 Adsense Units on Hubpages?

When browsing some of the hubs I occasionally see that hubpages dispalying 5 adsense units apart from adsense link units.

I am confusing because we are allowed 3 units at a single page.

    Is not that adsense violation?

Hubpages has an agreement with Google. Many larger publishers do. smile

Also if you check googles TOS I think you will find you are only restricted to showing 3 text links at anyone time. Which means you can use Image ads also.

So what about the impact of that agreement with our adsense account?

HP is a Premium Publisher - it can show more ads on a page.
It does not affect your account in any way.

If you want to know which of the five advert areas on show on your hubs are yours some of the time and which are only ever HubPages there was a post on the forums about it a few weeks ago. The information might also be on the site somewhere else not sure about that or where.
