This is what I've observed, important or not, I just want to know why.
A hubber at one point had close to 90 hubs, at least 40 of them focused on one type of toy. But few days ago I accidentally noticed that he/she only had over 40 hubs left, almost all other hubs in that particular section had been either removed or unpublished. I did have a negative reaction initially after seeing the way those hubs were written. Anyway, I'm just curious what could possibly make this to happen? Who would delete bunch of hubs like that if without good reasons?
People delete hubs all of the time.
Here are just a few of the reasons that are possible:
They unpublished them to work on them.
They unpublished them in order to republish them at a later date under another identity.
They simply were tired of them.
They felt they weren't good enough.
The list goes on.......nothing to be too concerned about.
maybe moving them to another site - or their own website ?
Here is my take. What was once seemingly desired, is becoming least, and what was least desired, is rising to the top. Victory can be declared if you cast away that which you most love. It is dust on the wind. If it's value is as great as was once thought, then surely , that which you have done cannot be parted forever from that which you are. I heard this once, a long time ago, so long that it lay hidden beneath a rock which was of my own making, a rock so heavy, not even I could lift it. Then God smiled. He gave me a hand. That is how I know. I know that if you do, indeed, posess faith the size of a grain of mustard seed, no power on earth can stand in your way. That IS the TRUTH< THE WHOLE TRUTH, and nothing more, nothing less. If you thik I left something out, call me at 541-574-1915, just ask for Dave, if I'm not there, I will be, because, this time..................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................I LIVE!
Thanks for taking the time listing the reasons, maybe it is one of them, though it will remain strange for me since at least few of them that I checked ranked pretty well, including one hot topic. At the time I discovered it was unpublished, it was still on the first page of an important keyword, that is why I was confused, thinking maybe they way the hubs written had problems, like titled for one thing and added bunch of other stuff, then took one of them made another hub and threw in similar stuff in, etc. Anyway, moving on:)
Could be that they had them published on another site and they were coming up as duplicates, which slows stuff down. I found this out myselft when I tried to publish a story I had written a few years ago that was on helium.com. When I tried to post it on here it came up duplicate. I took it off right away though.

I think I've asked this before, but I'd love to get an answer from a staffer, if possible.I've got 70 hubs on another account. Only one is doing well, some are so-so, but the majority need a good revamp. I'd really like to move them to my main account. How soon after unpublishing them on their...

This really isn't a problem, but rather something I am interested in finding out. I have a few unpublished hubs with little to no content in them, and the thing is, one of these hubs outranks one of my published hubs! I am wondering why that happens and if it is any indication of how good the hub...
