I am wondering if I use redirect link for my anchor text. Would that be OK in a SEO sense or that does not do any good?
Generally speaking, it won't do you any good. It usually requires a type 301 or 302 redirect in order to pass PR and maybe anchor text reputation, and most don't offer that.
Here is an exception
but as the article points out, use with caution.
Would this be good for anchor text and redirect? "The module also uses 301 redirects rather than traditional 302's. This means all the "link juice" is carried from page to page."
I installed an affiliate program under main domain and would like to put the shorten links offer with this affiliate prg with the anchor texts. Technically, they are affiliate links (for me to track the results of link building and sales, of course), but I don't pay myself :-)
