I thought I heard once on here that you only get up to $25.00 per sale on electronics in Amazon?
Yet today I see I made $28.50 on a camera from electronics. So does that mean there really is no cap? I did see it only gave me 4.00% whereas my other items are 6.50%.
4% cap on electronics. Sell a $ 2000 camera, get $ 80.
4% cap on laptops/desktops - if classified as electronics (they can be classified otherwise also - netting the normal % according to tiers)- in both cases subject to a maximum of $ 25. Sell a $2000 laptop, you still get $ 25.
I'm afraid so, there are a few items which fall out of the volume incentive scheme. You only get 4% for electronics. Whereas mp3, video on demand and games download attract 10%. If you look up the Advertising Fee Schedule on Amazon it has all the details.
I see, that makes sense now. I should have dug a bit in the Amazon page for the info. Thanks a lot for the break down.

I got my first amazon earnings from hubpages today. Only a couple of dollars, but nice to see it was working. It answered a question I had --do I earn only for the product clicked on or for anything the person who clicks buys after clicking. It is apparently the latter which is how it works on my...
