I am just interested how long it took until you got 25 or more followers. I am on here for 12 days now and I only have 9 followers so far, is that normal?
it depends on how active you are with the community and how much quality content you write. read others hub, leave comment on those, hub hop, write good content and be active in forum you will see follower quickly. i have 2 hub on getting follower that you can check. but remember one thing getting follower is only the social side of HP, followers don't help in money making.
Yes, that's normal..
I'll tell you this though, gaining followers isn't all that important on here. Sure, it's nice to meet new friends and make connections, but that isn't the main reason for being here. The main reason is simple: To get your articles read, and to make a little extra pocket change.
But, what Sale said is exactly right - the more active you are, the more you'll gain followers. To have 9 followers in 12 days isn't bad at all..
Oh, and welcome to HubPages!
I was worried about getting followers at first, however I have come to realize that they will come no matter what. Spend your time learning how to make hubs, and learning what works for yourself. I have found my own little niches that I use. Just remember you can make a hub that will be on the front page of searches tomorrow if done right.
Keep posting hubs and helping people out, people will surely begin to follow you!

Dear New Fan. Thank you for recently following me and bringing my followers total up to 1700.
