Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a link capsule.
2. Paste a Hub link in there with an apostrophe in its summary and add it.
3. In the 'Link description', all apostrophes will have disappeared (so You've becomes Youve).
If I am not mistaken, apostrophes are not used in links at all of any kind from any site.
Thanks for reporting this. I'll see what's up and post back on this thread.
I investigated the issue and the apostrophe works fine for me.
I tested it using Firefox on Vista.
SimeonVisser, which type of browser are you using and what is your operating system. I followed the steps that you outlined and I did not find a problem with the apostrophe.
I did notice a problem with the ampersand not appearing correctly. I'll post on this thread when the ampersand issue is fixed.
Larry, thanks for looking into this. I can't seem to reproduce the error at the moment. I'm running Firefox 4 beta on Ubuntu Linux 10.04.
Firefox 4 (actually called Minefield ) is regularly updated because it is beta. It may have been an error in Firefox 4 itself because it works now. Sorry for this, I'll keep this in mind when reporting a possible bug in the future (I'll check with a different browser). On the other hand, you discovered an issue with the ampersand so this thread was not a complete waste
The ampersand issue with the link capsule will be fixed with the next update to the site.

I was working on a new hub and having trouble copying and pasting a PDF file into it when it disappeared. I had worked on it a couple of times but I had not published it. I did a rewrite and wanted to include a particular PDF. Also, my title was questionable, so I changed the title. Which of these,...

I've been using the site and having the oddest things going on. One was just me with the poll, which I didn't know stayed open like that but that question was answered and I really appreciated the help! Thanks!!!!That was a learning type issue. These are not since I was doing them and they never...

I just tried to correct of couple of photo attributions. When I open the capsule in edit, the photo disappears. It won't let me upload another photo either. The capsule looks strange, no icon to click to upload. Is this possibly because the links are broken and photos are no longer available? I...

This has happened several times over the last months, and it doesn't happen every time. In edit mode I open a photo capsule, make no changes, and then click "discard changes" (as opposed to "save changes") in order to close the capsule. The text of the photo capsule subtitle...

I know it's been asked before. I've even asked it before. But is there a better and easier way to bring in links to a link capsule from another hub. It'd make linking series so much easier. I spent about 2 hours yesterday linking an old series that I have together. It included about 20 or so hubs...
