Are we allowed to link to other hub pages from our own hub and earn from that or do we have to link to only outside sources?
Yes, you can use a URL tracker to link to hubs. You will then get about 10% of the page impressions of the hub you are linking to for 2 hours after someone clicked on your link with the URL tracker.
URL trackers do not work when linking to external sites. But they do work when linking from external sites to HubPages.
Hm, I have been wary of this. Sure, you get 10% of page impressions, but while hub hopping I have seen pages against google ToS (which I flag), and there is no way of controlling where people 'go next' while they have the cookie.
I'm a little paranoid, maybe, but I don't want to risk my adds appearing on one of those pages, and losing my only adsense account.
Good point. I never use URL trackers internally. But many top earnes use them extensively - both to earn and measure traffic.
You only get 10% from impressions, your ads will never appear next to hubs that are not yours.
You can always check the page you are linking to, that way you know that your traffic is being sent to a safe page to advertise on.

I spent about 2 hours yesterday linking an old series that I have together. It included about 20 or so hubs...

I've had links to my own related hubs snipped on several occasions (mostly blatant lists at the end of a hub), but some links have been left in place after several snips. So is it acceptable to include a link to a hub which may be very relevant to the specific content in a section of a hub, if it...

This topic has been raised a couple of times in other threads, I thought it was worth posting as a separate topic to get more attention. We all know how important backlinks are. Current thinking is that simply exchanging links (site A links to site B and site B links to site A) is a...

I've had a few people sign up under my trackers when I send out emails of my hubs, but I was wondering what some of the rest of you have done as far as setting up a more unique way to have friends and family sign up here at hubpages? For some strange reason I don't think my profile link for sign...
