    Hey everyone, I got a personal message from a hubber; I was notified via my private email account.  How do I respond to this person via my Hubpages account?  I can't find any type of message inbox on hubpages.

      use the contact form on their profile or hit reply on in your inbox, to make sure the message don't go to your spam folder add the address.

    There are four different types of personal messages:

    1 - Email sent via HubPages. You respond directly via your email account simply by hitting the "reply" button;
    2 - Fan mail. You approve that here: http://hubpages.com/my/fanmail;
    3 - Question asked of you: You respond to those here: http://hubpages.com/my/requests (see "My pending questions")
    4 - Comments on your hubs: You moderate those here: http://hubpages.com/my/moderate - respond to them by going to that Hub.

      When doing this, you reveal your email address to the other side. If you don't want to do it, use contact form on their profile. smile

        I agree that the email address would be revealed. But that will also happen when the contact form is used, since the email is sent by HubPages but the listed return address is the Hubber's own.

              However, you can type in any email address and still send mail from their profile.

                However, it had better be your own if you want to receive a reply.
