I had almost 3000 likes on fb for this hub:
And they all went away. Does anyone know why?
probably a facebook glitch, they always getting problems with the like and comment buttons, hopefully it will restore itself soon.
It's still not restored...it shows 4 likes when I have over 3000
Likes are completely controlled by Facebook, so we have no idea. You should contact them.
Sorry we can't be of more help!
May be they don't like you anymore. All 3,000 of them. Well, I personally do not trust Facebook, just intuition nothing more

Facebook is deleting “likes” all over the place. Goodbye to all those lovely organic links… Doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to it either. Unless the default for all "likes" is now gradually being set to private and friends-only. Which means Google is never going to see...

People are reporting that if a Hub gets made Editor's Choice, it loses its Facebook likes. This sounds like a real issue to me.http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/115381

Yay! Today, I hit the 80,000 mark for Facebook likes on my Michigan Accents hub. I wish I had MORE hubs like this! I only published it in at the end of Nov 2011. So thrilled about this!

Yesterday when i reviewed one of my hot hubs, i noted that Facebook like on all my hubs was lost. I hope Hubpages rectifies this problem ASAP.
