I have a question.. I wrote an article about an awesome, short & inspirational article that was given to me as a gift. As part of my story, I included the article in my hub- It clearly showed who it was written by, copyright etc. When I published the hub, I got a warning that a significant part of my article was duplicate work.
I unpublished the article. My question is, is my article against hubpages rule, or can I republish it?
Duplicate content is not against the rules, but there are some restrictions. Especially, you cannot have any promotional links from a hub with duplicate content, and the score may be lower.
To add to what WE said, while duplicate content may be permitted in some instances, it is never recommended -- hence the restrictions.

It is called PlagSpotter Duplicate...

Just now I saw a hub that was copied from that of mine. I had published it on 27th Feb. The same hub is being published with a little changes here and there. What should I do? Any help would be highly appreciated.
