The third phase of the New7Wonders of Nature is now underway, have you voted for any? Anyone can vote as many times as they want, only requires new mail address.
Sounds great, but this voting system can be unfair, a country of nominated nature site would surely want to win. They will go for some campaign and the more population that has access to internet, the more chance to win. It will be unfair to those who want to vote but does not have internet or doesn't even know about the voting.
I am not against this voting system (what else can I do), but I am hoping that the organizers have a reliable measure to get the best possible results.
I agree! results will not be 100% according to what really deserve to be on the top 7 wonders..
I went to their site though...and they were all magnificent..
Yes. Decosigner and Extinct Soul are right. 100% agreed.
But the problem will remain unsolved, that what else can we do.
Just hoping that the voting brings out the best possible result.

Listening to a couple political pundits discussing a local election result - I heard them agree that the low voter turnout for the election probably helped unseat an incumbent.Their logic was that the voters that did bother to vote were probably more-informed voters than would be the case when...

Is voting an answer to a question down a form of internet bullying?Sometimes when I am answering questions I see answers that were very good being voted down. Do you feel this is a way of putting down another writer or lowering a persons self esteem? (Sidenote: this is not meant to be taken...

I'm curious as to why the United States hasn't implemented a system where each citizen can vote on national issues using the internet? For example, if you didn't support the new health care system you could go onto a government controlled website, sign in with your ssn and vote...
