Does anyone generate a lot of traffic to there own website from Hubpages?
I know of one person here that makes a flaming fortune from it.
who is it? I've been trying to loads just now to get traffic to my blog as i seem to get more hits on my adsence. I've made £7 today, which doesn't seem much but want to get writing blogs and reviews so i can send more traffic to my store. Lots of time and work i suppose as it's just a new blog

A little bit. In most cases though I drive traffic to Hubpages from my own sites. Hubpages might take a bigger cut but I like how I can make plenty of pages quickly on hubpages with amazon and eBay, as well as helping keep my content fresh!
Yeah, i've been trying to do it from my own site to by putting links etc.
Have you managed to get any backlinks?
Hi Lippy, this would have been a better thread for the Hub Makeover thread.
I checked out your one Hub and what I can see is that your Hub does not target very good quality keywords and has poor on page SEO as it's not really properly targeting any keywords properly.
Not trying to be mean, just pointing out those problems first. The next thing is you can't expect to see much gains from just one Hub. If you were to find some great keywords in that niche and string together at least 5 good quality Hubs and on each include an RSS capsule choosing the maximum 8 posts to show from your blog on that same niche, then you would probably see some decent traffic from those Hubs to your blog and website.
You also have to be willing to put in some promotion to accomplish this as well. A small batch of properly optimized Hubs taking advantage of these factors can and would work. Good Luck
Thanks for the feedback. I know it states I've been on here for 19 months. I have just came back to this this week and i'm now doing quite a bit of writing. I have got 2 other hubs waiting on approval. I've also been writing articles today for enzines and other directories. Have got quite a bit to do
I will do another search on Google so i can get better key words today.
How does the RSS capsule work? I'm off to do a bit more research just now.
is that £7 on a daily basis or in total?
Earning money online is not a quick thing, it takes a lot of effort, but in my experience it is well worth while

This is long, so here's the bottom line: Basically, my problem is I want to build a site around the same topics and keywords I've done well with here on HP, but I don't want to do anything that would damage the work I've already posted here.I have a couple of niche HubPages accounts that do okay....

Curious: Do you have multiple accounts, because your profile shows 68 hubs. I took a lot of mine and moved them. I let what I have left sit til it goes idle then I take remove it. I have over 80 articles, new ones, that are not published here, but elsewhere. Earnings are less than 2 bucks a month....

Hello Hubbers! I'm fairly new to HubPages, I've been here about a week now and love the community so far! Anyway, I was thinking, since we all have the same goal; to make money, get readers and help people, I thought I would make a topic for us all to discuss the best places to post our HubPages...

How to get traffic to your site in genuine way?

Many good quality pages are Idled (become unfeatured) via ‘Analysis of the how engaged readers are with a Hub over an extended period of time’ – essentially because they get low traffic. It appears that this process was initiated to reduce the number of ‘low quality’ pages on the site. The...
