I've made £7 today, which doesn't seem much but want to get writing blogs and reviews so i can send more traffic to my store. Lots of time and work i suppose as it's just a new blog

A little bit. In most cases though I drive traffic to Hubpages from  my own sites.  Hubpages might take a bigger cut but I like how I can make plenty of pages quickly on hubpages with amazon and eBay, as well as helping keep my content fresh!

Hi Lippy, this would have been a better thread for the Hub Makeover thread.

I checked out your one Hub and what I can see is that your Hub does not target very good quality keywords and has poor on page SEO as it's not really properly targeting any keywords properly.

Not trying to be mean, just pointing out those problems first. The next thing is you can't expect to see much gains from just one Hub. If you were to find some great keywords in that niche and string together at least 5 good quality Hubs and on each include an RSS capsule choosing the maximum 8 posts to show from your blog on that same niche, then you would probably see some decent traffic from those Hubs to your blog and website.

You also have to be willing to put in some promotion to accomplish this as well. A small batch of properly optimized Hubs taking advantage of these factors can and would work. Good Luck smile

          Hi Benjamin,

Thanks for the feedback. I know it states I've been on here for 19 months. I have just came back to this this week and i'm now doing quite a bit of writing. I have got 2 other hubs waiting on approval. I've also been writing articles today for enzines and other directories. Have got quite a bit to do

I will do another search on Google so i can get better key words today.

How does the RSS capsule work? I'm off to do a bit more research just now.

Just right click on the RSS symbol on your blog or website and select copy link location then paste it in the RSS address on the RSS capsule on a Hub.

is that £7 on a daily basis or in total?

Earning money online is not a quick thing, it takes a lot of effort, but in my experience it is well worth while smile

Backlinks from Hubpages are nice, and high quality!
