I was just looking at my stats and noticed a strange black arrow pointing up with a white exclaimation point inside it. It is not listed in the symbols. Does anyone know what it is?
How do I fix that? It was not broken before.
You have to go into edit mode and check it. Links go dead all the time, if you have a video it might mean the video is no longer available.
Just edit your hub and re-link it. It happened to me once too. One of my links got broken.. I don't know how it happened but it did.
You go to the hub.
Edit the hub.
Look for a "highlighted" link.
Edit the capsule the link is located in.
Fix the link.
There were links that might have nothing wrong with, but the programming of Hubpages, requires you to at least edit the hub and save/done editing the hub. It will save any new changes.
I had a couple of hubs that said broken links and all I was required to do was edit the hub and leave, because the links were not actually broken.
Hope that helps.
Thanks for asking GreenCat, I just came to the forums to ask the same question!
It isn't anything you did wrong. This will continue to happen whenever a link we used on one of our hubs is not available anymore.
It is ok. All you have to do is change it to a new one.

I am so tired of trying to second guess the requirements. It seems that it takes 2-3 edits to go from UF engagement to Feature. Could someone please check out my recent edit which I edited again after getting the circle? I removed 1 of the 2 Zazzle links and another to a blog which may have been...

When I start a hub, there are certain areas where it won't let me type. The curser doesn't even show up. Like when I post photos, it won't let me type in the subject box or the source box or the other boxes. I have to go to the ingredients and click on "additional...

I have the Broken Link symbol and I went to the hub to check it out. In Edit mode the message 2 possible broken links detected.I go through all links since nothing was "highlighted in yellow" on page. One link tested bad, so I deleted it. Since it is an important link, I pasted the exact...

I have returned to my Hubpages account to find out that I have some broken links to tend to, but, when I view the pages in question in "edit mode", I am not seeing which ones are broken, i.e. highlighted. I have attached some screen shots for reference:This first image shows that I am, in...

I had a broken link violation on one of my hubs this morning. I went in and changed the link, checked it, and saved it. However, it still keeps saying there's a broken link. I've checked it several times and there are no other broken links. How do I correct this?I had three...

I just found a (!) warning on one of my Hubs, due to two broken links to my own Hubs. Clicking on the links led to 404 error pages. But the pages the links were supposed to go to still exist, and are still published and featured. It seems the links should have been good.I went into the Hub and...
