How long to wait for Google Adsense to reply?

    I applied to Google Adsense two weeks ago when I joined Hubpages. I've published 15 or so hubs now, but I am still waiting to hear from Google. They haven't e-mailed me with a yes or no, and I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience? It is a good idea to contact Google and check they received my application - or would that just be pestering them?

      I can't remember how long it takes but I think you should have heard something by now.

      Maybe they are snowed under with complaints over their algorithm change and have pulled staff off the Adsense side to deal with the deluge!

      Actually I have no idea - maybe by bumping this thread up a bit higher, someone else who knows may come along.

    "Once you've submitted your AdSense application and verified your email address, it typically takes 2-3 days for our specialists to complete the review. However, depending on the volume of applications we receive, it may take a week or longer."

    "As soon as we've reviewed your application, we'll send you an email with details on your application status."

    I'd say wait another week (they are busy with the new algorithm changes) and then contact them (something like "I applied to Adsense 3 weeks ago and haven't gotten a response yet. I realize that sometimes reviewing applications takes longer than normal so I just wanted to make sure my application is indeed in the reviewal process. --Thank you for your time.")

      Thanks for the help guys. I'll give it another week. I think I picked the wrong week to apply to Google!
