I went into the gas station today and
asked for five dollars worth of gas.....
The clerk “Farted” and gave me a receipt
Gas isn't that high presently, but if things continue, then it will most certainly get there.
However, the price in my area is about $3.35 per gallon.
And it's only gonna get worse,.. Guess we all could go back to using the horse and carriage LMAO.
Hey Misha - howdy stranger
Just getting back into the swing of things LOL
Last night gas was a buck twenty five per liter in my neck of the woods. That would make it 5 bucks a gallon wouldn't it? That's it for me, the 4x4 jeep just loves it's juice too much so horse and buggy here I come... (if it were only possible)
...oh oh...that means it'll cost more for me...been payin' $1.20 for awhile....
...ha ha ha ....good one!
...i paid $1.20 for a litre yesterday...costs me more because they have to swim over to bring the gas....livin' in the colonies and still payin' for the Queen's fox hunts....darn those fox!
I have a friend who works in a gas station here in Michigan and she says her boss says it will be 5.00 a gallon come Memorial weekend,..
Last week I filled up for just over a dollar 1.01 for the liter... then last night I swear my jaw dropped to the ground and I almost stepped on it when I noticed the price was up to $1.249, and that's at a cheap self serve station too.
Hey Zsuzsy,
Within a span of 4 days, I watched the price go from $3.05 to $3.35 a gallon. I was shocked, but shouldn't have been.
Hiya Cags, even 30 cents a gallon in four days is too much but 24 cents on a liter... that's ninety six cents/gallon in a week... I can't keep going with all these prices...
I can understand that. America's Economy trembled when gas prices reached near $4.00 once before(first time in my life) and if places are thinking that gas is going to rise to $5.00 per gallon in some places, then the Economy(overall) is seriously in trouble.
I recently saw somewhere that our President is going to consider tapping into the reserves, but how smart that actually is? Is actually unknown to me, but could be good for a short period of time, to stop the rising price.
It's unfortunate that many of the speculators who deal on Wall Street, might force up the prices anyways, so they can reap as much profit as they can. Who knows right now, but things even on a Global stance isn't going to get better in the future, only worse.
I hope I am wrong, but doubt it.
eeeek we're all neck deep in the poop, me thinketh
I paid $3.28 yesterday - it does look like our Prius will begin paying it's way, so to speak. At least it will help make up for the 4X4 pickup I take to work.
I'm in the same boat with the 4x4 jeep... oh well there really is not much we can do. Complaining isn't going to help. Time to reinvent an engine that runs on water, air, urine, chicken poop or ????????
Have a great night and a good week everyone.
Have a Great week yourself !!! HOOAH !!!
Hey Zsuzsy Bee, remind me not to ask for five dollars worth of gas here. That's like less than 6 liters of gas here .
Seriously, I dread watching our local news reports because all I ever hear is that the prices of gasoline are going up. It's affecting everything - prices of goods, our fare, etc.! Makes me want to buy a bicycle and just cycle around the city (no carriage and horse here though) .

When gas prices were going up, Wingnuts were tripping over each other in a rush to blame the president. Even though he had nothing to do with it.President Obama ordered a release of strategic reserves. Prices have dropped over 50 cents per gallon in Florida. What do we hear now?

I just heard that it is very probable that the gas will go up to $5.00 a gallon in the near...future in the United States; do you think it will happen? And why is it going up that much?

I know gas prices are pretty here in the states at the minute, saying that if broke it down , england would cost about 8-9 dollars a gallon and ireland about $7 maybe $6 more even . So $4 aint bad when you count this. I know the other countries go by the litre rather then the gallon. Some...

This may not be news to a whole lot of people, but, I am getting sick of this. Why isn't the Government doing anything about it, especially when they know that it is killing our economy? Not, to mention that we are fighting wars over it, only to have the countries we are "Aiding" are...
