I think it might be a simple javascript
I'd like to see that too (at least in some instances) (although, if anyone were to see my writing he'd see that I tend to have no problem with minimum word counts, and tend to disregard the entire concept of maximum word counts.

Minimum word count
On another thread, a Hubber suggested that if HubPages had a minimum word count, it would prevent some spammers.I know that a very low word count can get a Hub flagged as substandard, but perhaps it's set too low at the moment?
