Hey New and Veteran Hubbers,
I was just editing a hub that I am presently working on, getting ready to publish after making minor adjustments.
However, I discovered a NEW feature.
Word Count on the TOP of each Text Capsule.
A very nice addition for people who don't write their hubs outside of Hubpages.
Thank you staff.
I'm writing a Hub right now, but don't see the w/c.
'At the top of each text capsule' ... no - I can't see it ...
Camlo, it should be in the framing of the capsule in the upper left hand corner.
No, no matter how hard I look. I can't really think of any logical reason why you should have it and I don't. Hmmm - strange.
Camlo, what browser are you using. I'm on Firefox.
Chrome. I think that could explain it. Thank you.
I see you posted this 17 hours ago, and you may have it now, but I have it right now and I'm using Chrome.
Hope you get it soon!
Yes! This is a GREAT feature! I sometimes write hubs in word and transfer them, but there are times I simply write them directly on HP. I love having a word count on top of each capsule!
Wow, we were in dire need of this feature with all the changes that have come in !! Good Going Team HP
Wow! I love the new feature. So much easier to keep track of the number of words for Amazon products, not that I write many product hubs. But it's nice to have the word count feature. Thanks HP! I haven't seen it yet.
A nice edition for hubbers like me who write straight in the hub, thanks team.
Thanks for the heads up Cags.
Thanks for the much awaited feature HP.
I literally have to count my words, because i write on Microsoft office one note, before transferring to the capsule.
I put up a new hub today. I could not see the word count for capsules at any point during the creation/editing process.
Aaaah yes! Another reason to Love Hub Pages!!! Another First for Innovation and Originality! Hubbers be Happy!
Can't seem to see it yet but sounds like a great new feature

what text actually counts towards your hub's word count? I know the words in the text capsule count, but how about rss feeds, news, links, polls, etc.? Is this text included in the word count?

How many Amazon capsules are allowed per how many words? I don't care personally, I never made much on Amazon. But on a few of the lenses that came over, they are almost all Amazon capsules, with maybe 200 words. I tried to tell one person in a nice way that it was an interesting topic, but that...

Two of my three top ranking articles by traffic have only 700 words, but maybe 10 diagrams.Do photos substitute for words when it comes to ranking and is word count not really as important as we think?

Hi guys! I'm changing one of the papers I wrote last semester into an article. It was originally written in Microsoft Word and has plenty of endnotes. When I'm copy and pasting into a text capsule, the endnotes are automatically moved to the bottom of that capsule. Is there a way to have the...
