Just signed up for Google Analytic, and I did the whole "UA-xxxxxxx-xx" aspect of it -- but I'm confused as to what I do with the script code (or snippet as they say)? Where do I put THAT? What is it for? I did some reading here and everything I've related to the tracking code only talks about the "UA-xxxxxxx-xx" part and not the snippet part... what is it?
There is no code for you to paste anywhere, that is for webmasters, not Hubbers.
Oh, so if I had a whole website, I would use that snippet rather than the "UA" code?
Thanks for your reply. Appreciate it.
You are welcome. Basically, on a website you would paste in the HTML code on the footer of every page you want tracked. A blog, either paste it in or (simpler) get a plug-in that will automate the process for you - similar to here.
