Everytime I try to pull up a Hub Page or edit a Hub Page, my Avast kicks in and tells me Malware has been blocked.
I tried it in Firefox and Chrome and got warnings on both.
Yup, you are correct but it is NOT Hubpages. Doubleclick, one of the ads served by Google adsense, is spreading malware.
I get it right now on all my sites with adsense and all other websites out there with adsense.
I ran a scan with Avast, Malware bytes and Windows Defender.
Avast caught it and it was an HTML script embedded in an ad.
I think it hid in the temp folder.
But I just got finished running all three scans and everything is clear now.

I recently installed Avast anti-virus free edition. It puts little icons next to google search results to tell you if the site is safe or not. It seems that every hubpages link in search results has a yellow marker saying "This site has a bad reputation". Seeing as Avast is one of the...

For the past 5 or 6 hours I have been dealing with some fraud and identity theft that I discovered and I'm now really weary of my online security; I hope some HP "techies" can help... I use the Windows 7 built-in firewall and I use the free version of Avast for antivirus. ...

Forgive me if this has already been discussed but I have been away for a while. I just searched for one of my hubs using Google chrome and it came up with a yellow warning button next to it saying "this site has a bad reputation". I searched for many of my other hubs and got...

I felt like I needed to get this out there. I was just looking at one of my hubs over twenty minutes ago when Norton Virus blocked an Exploit kit virus. Apparently, someone from Russia (I did a reverse IP check) tried to hack my computer. I figured I would warn you guys, even though I might have...
