I'm a nwbie here. Five weeks and three hubs. So far, I seem to be getting good readership--1800 or so.
Does anyone think I have a chance in hell of getting accepted by Adsense at this time? Could I get on HP in lieu of Adsense?
Getting accepted by Adsense is highly dependent on where you are located geographically. Having more hubs help speed up the process, I wouldn't say it is a must, as many hubbers have got approved without writing hubs at all. HP ad programme is available to those who have adsense approval , as the ads run on HP are Google ads. So you really need to apply for adsense, you could also apply for Amazon and you would get approval in hours. Welcome to HP and best wishes to you:)
It is learnt that Adsense applicants from some geographical locations such as the Asian region need to have an active web presence of at least six months to apply.

I think it is related to images being used for the HUB ads and Google ads. When I turned off the Hub ads my adsense revenue rose significantly. I think it is because the block of adsense ads to the right of the column of text below the title returned to text based rather than image based. I think...

The new HP ad program may reduce Google and Amazon income more than new money gained. My CTR at Google has been terrible since I implemented the program. Traffic is increasing after the Google BS dance, but CTR remained low... very low. eCPM also was lower than normal on the clicks received. I...

HP ads are running on my hubs since one week. My earnings through the program are pretty low, may be because of lower traffic I am getting. My hubs were making couple of dollars before signing up with HP ads. Now from past one week my hubs earned nothing from adsesne.I am just thinking whether I...
