I Hate My Job...

    Maybe I am unusual in this respect, but I have been a programmer going on 20 years and it seems with each passing year, I get more jaded about the IT industry. 

    I used to love programming.  Starting out, I would go to work early and stay late.  This is the nature of the beast in IT.  Unfortunately, many people think we make a lot of money, which we do, but then we don't.  If you are putting in 10 hours or more a day at your job, you are really trading time for money, which means you are not making all that much money for the amount of time you put in at your job.

    I long for the day when I can go to my boss and tell him, "You know what, I don't really need this job.  I make more in one month than I do in a year and I am working part-time doing this".  In other words, I would be telling him that I have an "eye" problem.  "eye" can't see myself working here anymore.  I would love to watch his eyes bug out when I tell him this. 

    I can't do this now, but I dream about it almost every day.  I hate my job....

      People say i hate my job,when they become lazy.....Hold on to your Fixed job and work part time Writing Articles.

      Because,Adsense and other part time jobs are not permanent, we cannot depend on them all our life. Even though i spend most of time making hubs, i also have my own Businesses which i can depend for LIFE TIME.

    I think we've all had jobs like this at one time or another. It becomes problematic when you feel that way about every job you take on.
