Referral Scheme?

   Hi there, I can't find it anywhere, is there a referral scheme for HubPages, you know something like if I get someone else to join there is a reward or incentive?  And if so how do I go about registering for it?

                  I haven't succeeded yet - but I will work on it - how hard can it be???
                  do I have to make up another token number or do I use the one listed by HubPages?

      Also good point - I have thousands of views through referral links but I'm not sure that they have earned me a penny so far...

   My wife says that there was another incentive referral program in place when she joined 10 months ago. Something like HP giving $50 if you got someone to join. Has anyone else heard of this? It doesn't seem to exist currently.

      Not that I am aware of. The only site that I know that offers a $50.00 reward is Examiner.

         Pure-bred American (whatever that means ) linguist with all degrees from the U.S. She accompanied me when we worked in Asia for about 20+ years, so is fluent in two other languages as well. I feel uncomfortable about giving her username here--we have distinct personae in distinct niches--but there are enough breadcrumbs if you want to connect the dots.
