I have a question. Sorry if the answer is either obvious, or can be found easily (although I doubt both).
I am currently writing my first hub. I fact it's almost finished. It's about the Art galleries of London. I want to provide a hyperlink using the name of each gallery, linked to the gallery's home page. You know the sort of thing - the words "National Gallery" in blue, you click, it takes you to the home page.
1. Are hyperlinks allowed in hubpages?
2. If so, how does one go about it?
3. If so, is it a good idea (after all, this form of clicking ain't gonna earn me any money!)
Re. 1) It is allowed, up to 2 links to the same domain in each hub.
Re. 2) In editing mode, type the text as you want it to appear, then highlight that. Click on the chain-link icon, paste in the URL for the site you want to link to, click save.
Re. 3) It is a good idea, insofar as relevant outbound links make the hub more useful for readers, which may also help your search engine position.

Is it better to embed a coded link within a capsule or put it into a "link" capsule?

I should probably know this already but are we allowed to add hyperlinks to external websites if it pertains to the subject written about in the hub? Is this something we would get banned for? Thanks!
