After many months of working on my own time and writing just as a small hobby, I reached the 1000 view mark. I definitely have a long way to go, but this is encouraging. I wonder if the next 1000 views will come faster
Thank You Hubpages for giving me opportunities to publish my work!
The next thousand views will certainly come faster than the first.
I'm working towards a hundred thousand, and some of the folks that I've got to know here are over a million.
I don't know any secrets other than keep going, and learn from what is working - and head that direction.
After almost three years I almost have 1000 views too ! . Good job.
congratulations its your efforts you come to 1000 views keep posting you will meet 100,000 target also best of luck !!!
Congratulations - it's a milestone to be proud of. And yes, the next 1000 should come faster.
Question for you; have you set up google analytics yet? They have a global map there that shows where your views come from; it is real interesting to see it fill in as you get views from all over the world.
congrats, and I am now at 800+, I joined 3 weeks ago, waiting for my 1000 ;-)
Congratulations of your first 1,000.
Also, welcome to HubPages PSF.
Hey congratulations! I just got my thousand too last night. Hopefully this will be the start of something great. Looking forward to when I can reach 10k a month. Anyways good luck to you my friend and I look forward to more milestones from you
Way to go, Smanty! I remember when I got my first thousand views. Now I get more than that in one day and I'm still not satisfied! The more views you get, the more you want!
Keep up the good work!

Braggart? Me? Are you kidding? I'm after 100 thousand views per day! Then I will boast about it!
Thank You so much everyone, it really is inspiring to see what you guys have achieved. I find it a little funny that it took me a year to reach the 1000 mark where it took others a matter of a couple of weeks. I have generated over 1/3 of my views in the past week and a half though, so all I can see is improvement from here.
I have begun posting my hubs on highly rated sites and have seen great improvement in views from this.
And where have you been posting your hubs if you don't mind me asking, Smanty? Are you talking about backlinking or duplicate content?
It took me a year to reach 1000, too, but within my second year I reached 10,000 mark, and it's exciting. Keep it up!
Those are some great places to post links, but my experience with those is that they're short term-traffic. One thing you can do that takes about as much time (a little more) is post on related forums. I have a hub about it if you need more information than that (not trying to self promote, just trying to help).
Congratulations. better late than never. 1 year for a 1000 views is a bit too late. I am at 700 now and this is my 13th day at hubpages and I am loving it. Anyways since you have got more traffic in recent days, your traffic will soar soon. What high rated websites did you post your hubs on? This information would be helpful.
Keep up the good work, it takes time to build up the number of articles to achieve the views you want to achieve through hubpages, but it will continue to grow.
Congrats, smanty! I remember how excited I was when I first hit 1000 views (and it took me a few months here at HP). Now I'm looking for 10,000, which should happen pretty soon here. :-)

Hi everyone,I finally reached the 10,000 views milestone here on HubPages (my accolade won't appear for a few hours). Wow, what a journey! I would like to thank you all for supporting me and following me. I made a hub about it too, just published. Here's to the next ten thousand!

I have received over 1000 views on the hubs on my one account which is the one I transferred from Squidoo.

Is a thousand views and 9 featured hubs enough for my AdSense to be approved?More than a thousand views, nine featured hubs and a few more unfinished write-ups. Should this number be enough? Also, the URL I placed for my application is my homepage here instead of an articles's URL. Is that correct?

I'm just so excited, I got my first 1000 views in just 4 weeks of joining. Thank you to all who read my hubs. Any comments positive or negative is greatly appreciated. I know there is always room for improvement.

I've had a significant long term spike in hub views but with no corresponding significant rise in "earnings".How much traffic is needed in order to start earning say a few hundred dollars per month??
