I've had a significant long term spike in hub views but with no corresponding significant rise in "earnings".How much traffic is needed in order to start earning say a few hundred dollars per month??

Is a thousand views and 9 featured hubs enough for my AdSense to be approved?More than a thousand views, nine featured hubs and a few more unfinished write-ups. Should this number be enough? Also, the URL I placed for my application is my homepage here instead of an articles's URL. Is that correct?

1000 Views!!
After many months of working on my own time and writing just as a small hobby, I reached the 1000 view mark. I definitely have a long way to go, but this is encouraging. I wonder if the next 1000 views will come faster Thank You Hubpages for giving me opportunities to publish my work!
