I have been here three weeks, published an origional hub, and I have no followers, America has 30 million people who claim to be Irish are they banned from hub pages
Start following people and they will follow back. Keep posting hubs and the more hubs, the more chances people will notice you and follow you.
Please don't follow people just to get people to follow you back (will negatively impact your hubber score and most hubbers don't like it)! Only follow hubbers if you genuinely enjoy their work and want to read more of their stuff.
Find some hubs that interest you, read them and leave decent comments (not just 'great hub') if you have enjoyed them
Keep writing more hubs and participate constructively in the forums
You will soon see the followers starting to trickle in
Why would anyone follow you without any hubs?
The idea of followers is to have people read your hubs.
Write something and see what happens.
Just because you wrote this in the forums I went to check out your work. Your profile says that you will tell us things about your town, but I see nothing written about the place. There is nothing to follow. How can one follow your work if there is none.

Do people really read the hubs of people they follow? Is it just me but I tend not to follow too many hubbers because I would never have time to write if I read all the hubs they submit. Perhaps I’m being naive here … but it seems disrespectful to follow them and then not read their work. Do...

When I first joined Hubpages, I went, as I call it, click crazy. I was just following everyone I could in hopes they would follow me and read my hubs. Soon I realized that half of the people I followed weren't even writing on Hubpages anymore. There are so many that have wrote 2 or 3 great hubs, in...

Just a quick question, as above, does having followers help your hubs/hubscore?
