Hubpages strikes me as our own little facebook where you get to share your ideas and showcase your talent ,and people get to appreciate you by following you
None of those things. HP is not a mini-facebook style of social pages. It is not a mutual admiration society. I neither expect nor desire followers that follow out appreciation or because I follow them.
HP is a place to practice my writing skills and learn how to write in the internet. It is a place to put my writing in front of the world, to help others in their search for knowledge. It is a place to earn some side income.
It is a place of forums to interact with others of similar interests or thoughts as well as those that highly disagree with my own concepts. It is a place to learn new things and thoughts.
