When I registered for hubpages I assumed the hubpages subdomain name could be changed or I would not have registered the one I did.
I have opened a second account and tried to add it to google adsense because I don't want to continue with the hubpages subdomain name I originally registered for various reasons.
Hubpages is already registered with the google adsense account and it seems that prevents the registering of another hubpages registration with google adsense. In other words, hubpages is already registered with the adsense account so I can't register hubpages again and that means I can't do the adsense setup process with my new hubsense account.
What are my options?
I am not sure if I have understood your question very well ..
You can have only one adsense account irrespective of how many accounts you have with hubpages.
If you do not want to continue with Adsense on the older account you can delete the account by writing a mail to Team@hubpages.com.
We use the same pub id for all our accounts on hubpages, or for any online work for that matter.
Thanks for the response sofs.
Allow me to state the question much better.
The account name or subdomain name I have with hubpages cannot be changed. That is a fact.
I want to use a different subdomain name with hubpages rather than the one I have. That would be a different user name and a new account with hubpages which I want to add my existing adsense account to.
How do I do this?
Thanks
Ask HP to delete your existing account and when it's done, then setup a new account.
I wasn't aware that you couldn't use your Adsense account with multiple accounts, under the sub-domain.
It has always been allowed to use Adsense, even on multiple accounts. I don't know what has changed and the best way to go about fixing the problem is to email Staff directly. Team@Hubpages.com
