Few days ago,I introduced 2 people to Hubpages, giving them my Referral Tracker but they went ahead registering without using my tracker, telling me they forgot & they just typed in-Hubpages.com in their browser- & when the page came up,they just signed up.Please can anyone advice me on what to do to reclaim them back?.
Sorry to hear about your problem But I am afraid they cannot be linked as your referrals. Because for doing so they needed to be signed it through the referral track assigned to you by the hubpages.com If they would have done so they could be automatically considered as one of your referrals.
Write to email@example.com and explain the situation. They have been known to manually add the referral links for your friends.
Thanks a bunch for that,IzzyM.I'II give your suggestion a try.I hope this gets rectified by the firstname.lastname@example.org.
I to have had this experience. I hope that HP can create a way for us to invite new users better. Right now it is still so complicated and frustrting. I would contact the email@example.com and see if they can link them back to you. Good luck.
Is it worth the hassle of emailing the support team, you probably won't earn much commission from 2 referrals

Trying to see if I understand this correctly. The trackers only work from outside of HP, correct? So if I have a new affiliate tracker on my profile page or in a hub, it's worthless to me, right? And if I link from one...

I just started hubbing and I was wondering if those who had been here a while could let me know what kind of results they have had with the referral program? Has anyone tried running advertisements with their hubpage...

Like referrals.1. Why insert an _referralcode into the URL. Couldn't you come up with a dynamic insertion solution? If an insertion was required, what's wrong with appending it at the end of the URL as in ?referrer=xyz?...
