If its a Hubpages article, and HubPages advised you, then you can often file the DMCA from your copied hub. I think you go into edit mode where it shows where you hub has been copied and there's advice there. There's also advice in the Learning Centre.
Otherwise, I've gone straight to the website administrators or even to the copier! Its VERY annoying but I go after em!
