I am new to hubpages and just wanted to say hello to everyone. I am just beginning to read through and try to figure this all out -- so any hints, tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Read tutorials, flip around the site and get a feel for how it works, ask questions in forums and/or Answers tabs, write first article and off you go.
Read others hubs, comment and follow the person if you like them.
Just don't follow everyone without reading their hubs. This is what I did and it destroyed my hubscore.
Read a hub I wrote called How New Hubbers Ruin Their Hubscore.

The best advice I can offer is to follow that already given - it's good advice.
Thank you Sofs... I am working on all of that now and making a list of what i would like my hub to be about. I have quite a few short stories that I have wrote for children's magazines, though they were never accepted.
