Seems to be weakening though...
I've been checking and now find we're NOT in the path! It's supposed to hit north of us so we get a pass this time. I'm relieved, my son is disappointed.

Have you noticed that you must be signed in to click on a hubber's name to go to their hubs? This does not seem good to me; it keeps readers from spotting hubbers they may want to check out and the traffic we are after is non-hubbers isn't it? So they would never be signed in. This seems an issue...

While I understand that hubbers might occasionally want to share some of their own hubs with their followers, it can be frustrating to see multiple 'old' hubs shared by their owner when looking at the 'feed'. I'd like to suggest that HubPages limits the ability to do this to a certain number...

I work at a popular "Dollar" store as a shift manager (keyholder) and have had to recently had to keep the store opened without, WITHOUT power, escorting customers in to shop showing them around with a flashlight while the cashier stands by and rings people up by hand with a calculator...
