Hey everyone!  If you've stopped by our blog, or read the newsletter, chances are you've already heard that we've proposed a panel for SXSW 2012.  The theme: Bringing Back the Love When Google Hates You!  Paul Edmondson will talk about how to survive a serious bout of Pandalism- in other words, how to keep your site stable during Google's search algorithm changes.

Your votes can help us make this panel happen.  You can cast your vote by going to our panel picker page and clicking the thumbs up button near the top left of the page

    http://blog.hubpages.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/vote-for-us-sxsw-300x154.jpg

If you don't have a SXSW account yet, you'll need to make one first, but it takes less than a minute- and your vote would make a big difference. smile

This may sound like a stupid question, but if Paul is an expert on this subject, why did HP get hit so hard?

      1. PRanj profile image57
PRanjposted 12 years agoin reply to this

        Pardon me...

But, Irohner, what HP team did after the Panda update is really spectacular. I know I am nowhere to question your intelligence, but again, I would request you to stop seeing clouds in every silver-lining. Even after deleting so many hubs, the hubpages traffic is getting closer and closer to what it used to be- before Panda update. You are a fabulous writer and definitely your hubs are giving you some positive shocks.

        Grow up dear.

Um... if you knew Julianna you'd know she wasn't proposing anything unethical.  There are plenty of online voting polls that allow you to vote more than once, I actually had the same question.  I am assuming the answer in this case is "no"?

Yup, the answer is "no" sad  we can  only vote once. sad Oh well people just need to keep voting. smile

I didn't realize what this was from the original title. But when I saw now that we need to vote, I created a PanelPicker account and put in my vote for Paul Edmonson to speak at the upcoming event in Austin. He has proven to know what he's doing since my traffic has increased beyond pre-Panda stats and others are saying the same thing in the Forums. I'm sure the increase has a lot to do with all the changes Paul is doing with HubPages. Thanks Paul. I hope you get to make your presentation in Texas.

I created an account (someone had already claimed the name MightyMom -- can you believe the NERVE? So I am MightyMomHP smile).
Anyway, was able to leave a comment but...
when I tried to vote I entered the Twilight Zone where they said I had to log in (I already was) then kept telling me they have no account with my email address -- even though I had clicked the account verification link they SENT to my email address!

Clearly, this organization NEEDS PAUL EDMONDSON!!!
