Wouldn't it be more beneficial to HP and each of us if the advertisements on our profile pages were in different positions? They're located in positions that don't seem very likely to be clicked. Would it be better to have a 728x90 at the top of our profiles? Or perhaps the option of including a square ad or two within the text of the profile? How 'bout a couple link units on our profiles (and our hubs?)
Just some thoughts...
I'd rather the profile area look the way it does. I don't expect people to buy or click on AdSense when they visit my profile. I'd rather they look at my other writings...
I like the set up of the Hubpages profile as it is. Simple and encouraging others to read our hubs.
I think it'd be nice though (maybe just as an option) to make it more click friendly... i like how it is currently as well, but i do think that the ads aren't really in clickable positions... it was just an idea though...
That might be a good option and a good suggestion ProCw . I guess when it comes to these things I am just more of a go with the flow kind of person and would rather leave it up the programming experts at HubPages to figure out the layout of things. I have my own little website for doing backgrounds, layouts, etc, although it probably looks garish to some people as I put lots of color on it.
Then why have them on there at all? Just wondering...
Profile pages look good at present, ProCW's suggestion seems nice too

I have noticed in the past few days while Hub Hopping and scanning my feed that there are a plethora of new hubs and hubbers joining the site and publishing low quality or poorly translated/spun hubs. When I click on the profile after flagging the hubs, I notice that there is no information about...

It would be great to have more options for displaying our hubs on the profile page. The chronological view means that hubs that are related (and may therefore appeal to the same reader) may be quite far apart, and older hubs are less likely to be seen in any case. Also, if we've written several...

I just updated my HubPages profile a couple days ago and in my profile linked to some of my favorite hub topics that I wrote about. Is this bad to do this since on the profile page we have those same hubs randomly come up below? I just don't want overkill but like the thought that I've got my...

A reader contacted me today to request a link to my profile page because she was unable to find it and wanted to read more of my articles. When I took a look at one of my articles, I saw that my pen name was shown along with the word "more". When you click "more", it...

Might be a brain fart here, but I have a couple of fans I'd like to leave fan mail for...how do you find that option? TX in advance.
