I just wondered how many time you needed for reaching a $100 on Hubpages when you first started.

IntroduceCroatia here is my opinion about making money from your articles on Hubpages:
first you have to get a google adsense account
then you have to opt in Habpages ads
then you have to write lots of hubs
these hubs have to be SE optimized (SEO)
that means the right keywords for the article
some people are backlinking their hubs too
then you have to wait for your hubs to get "old"
then you can hope to make money from clicks (Google Adsense) or/and from impressions (HP ad program).
Some people say it takes up to a year to make your first 100 but then the money come faster.
PS..took a look at your hubs...they are very interesting. Did you SEO them for turism in Croatia and the name of the places?
      Good luck.

No I didn't, but thanks for the quick background on Hubpages and adsense explanations.

I think you are asking about traffic, as in: How much traffic do I need to make $100 in the HP ad program? Exact numbers are impossible, but my experience is that HP and Google make between $5 and $8 per thousand page views.

    Hope this helps.

Ouch! I'm definitely nowhere near your level of experience. More like 50% of that on HP Ads and about 25% or less on Adsense.

I don't know that it's so much experience (although certainly doesn't hurt!) as it is subject matter.

While my adsense is only about half what Keith indicates I would be very disappointed if the HPads was anywhere near that low.

The new Drano ads have given all my hubs in the home category a big boost.  As Jason commented, they pay very well but only go on ads in that category.  Subject matter.
