if i have appropriate domain name can you change settings on hubpages to point it to the new domain name and if so how does on do it on hubpages? or am i diluting the power of hubpages by even thinking about doing this?
Sorry, but no-the url has to be made by Hubpages, you can't use your own domain.
And just a note, if you used your own domain it would become its own site with it's own identity, aka eliminating any Google or other engine traffic you get! Just to keep that in mind
