I just posted my first hubpage! Yeah me!

It isn't quite the layout I wanted but its a start.
Can anyone tell me how I would get the video on the left column instead of the right?  I didn't want all the graphics on one side of the hubpage. Oh well.  Its a start.  Please let me know what you think and and if you like, please give me a thumbs up!

    Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Andrea - to sort out your layout you need to be in edit mode.  At the top of  the capsule, you want to move (ie your video) you should see some arrows - use these to move the capsule up, down or float it left or right.  You can move it around until you find what suits you.

Your hub looks fine to me - clear facts and persuasive text.

Oh, and welcome to Hubpages - it's a great place to be!

Thanks for the feedback.  I only see float right not float left - I will have to figure out what I a doing wrong,  The up and down arrow functions were obvious bit the float left or right was not that clear.

I will keep working at it.  Thanks for stopping by!

I think once you start playing around with them, the arrows appear?  Just checked one of my hubs in edit mode and photo on right of page does have a double headed arrow to allow it to be moved left or right - just have a play about with it.  I am sure someone far more knowledgeable will be along soon with a proper answer anyway!

    Welcome to Hubpages!

Just for future reference, if you would like people to look at your work(hubs), then please use the Extreme Hub Makeover Forum thread and post up to 3 links(this is unofficial). Don't go and create another thread because of what I said. I've reported this thread to staff to have it moved to the Extreme Hub Makeover Forum thread, so you don't have to do anything, like start another thread.

I reviewed your hub and suggest if you're not an Amazon associate, that you become one, so you can add Amazon Kindle items to your hub. I would think that you would like to make money? Make sales?

Your hub seems to be pretty good as a starter hub. Good job! smile

Thanks for the info.  I thought there were some tools that checked for keywords as well but I can't seem to find it.

I became an amazon associate the same day I created my hubpage account bu thanks for the heads-up.  I also enabled my hubpages ad account as well.

Thanks again for your feedback and for stopping by!

Peace, Love, and Cookies to you!

I believe that you cannot float/move a photo or video capsule into the left column. Your choices are 1/2 wide and to the right, or full (2 columns) width.
