I notice lots of you have cute adorable pictures or clip art. To encourage comments. How could I get one for my comments?
What comments are you referring to? Ones in forums? On hubs?
If you're referring to clipart, you can use the formatting tab to find the code to link an image, then link an image using a search for "free cartoons" or "free clipart" or the like.
I am talking about in hubs. Where the comment section of the hub is some people either have a picture that says something cute than please comment. Its to get people to vote comment and share. Like a cute reminder!
You could probably create your own using a site like Picnik and then insert one into an image capsule at the bottom of your hubs.
I use a simple picture capsule with original art (like a photo) above the comments capsule. I designed mine in Photo Shop, but you can use any image software. If you you would like to, you are welcome to email me and I will help you design something (assuming you need design help) you can use for your hubs (as a HubCourtesy and at no cost).

What are the potentially cons of not using a comment box?I'm tired of answering the same questions over and over again. I'm tired of getting rude comments. I'm tired of dealing with it basically. I want to help people, but answering the same question over and over again or having to defend myself...

It's nice to get comments on hubs, but I am less sure about their value on commercial hubs. In fact I am tempted to leave them off.I think there are two games in town - the internal Hubber traffic - very nice no money - and the external traffic. But I wonder if anyone has experience of this or...

I'm sure there are many reasons for and against responding to comments left by your readers. What do you think?

Hi When editing my hubs, in the 'Add More Capsules' section, I have noticed that the word 'Comments' is in grey, while all of the others are in blue ~ and I can no longer 're-order' the 'comments' box. Is this the same for everyone ~ or is it just me?Thanks

I've never been able to understand why the comments capsule is optional. After all, we have the ability to moderate and deny comments if we don't like them. Seems to me the only people who wouldn't want comments are the spammers, so why do we make it easy for them?
