Yesterday I found my twitter account had postings/tweets that I did not place. I deleted them but am keeping a keen eye on this. What should I do IF this continues?
They probably got your password by sending a keylogger disguised in an email, don't open any emails that look suspicious
I have had this happen twice. Basically they got your password somehow. You need to change your password and make sure the account is still linked to the correct email address. Twitter has security issues and even clicking on a bad link can expose it. Only click on links in tweets if you know and trust the sender.
