Who wants to discuss Etruscan Pottery?

It seems that the mysterious Etruscan people were cruel and  broke the beaks off of their birds

They thought it made the birds sing better - kinda like when people blinded finches in vinkensport.

And it is well known that the HubPages business model is based on breaking the beaks off their authors - when they are not flaming them in the forums.  Trust you to make that connection and try to start yet more trouble.

But what I ask you happened to the Etruscans in the end?

The Romans came to town and got them 'in the end'

The vatican broke off something far more evocative off most statues here in Rome.

The pottery looks nice enough, but I don't like the beak-thing and the cruelty thing.  (I think I'll go find someone to talk with about, maybe, Christmas decorations, or snow, or something like that).
