I think you must have did something wrong, may be unknowingly.
Or somebody flagged you. to know the right reason contact HP staff.
Also my suggestion to all new hubbers is to read this FAQs first before starting a new hub:

You don't have to be in the forums.
When you publish a hub, it goes in the "hopper" for review by anyone who wants to help out. If we see things there that don't meet standards or policies, we flag them and that will cause staff to review and possibly take action.

rejuvenativemed, you have a valid point. Please contact HP team and they will surely help you.instead of discussing it here I would suggest you to talk to them one to one.Personally I found HP team very helpful and they did helped me in the past.
I don't know. I'm not staff, I don't know what the five links went to.
Getting oneself permanently banned would have to be due to some serious violations of the TOS for HP or the big G itself it doesn't just happen. HP has rules to follow and uphold and can't let others endanger that with bad practices. jmo

Then the Squid merger happened, and then a bunch of other bad things, culminating with the demise of subdomains a few months ago. By the time HP announced the niche site idea I'd lost...
