    Good on you mate! smile

It must be quite hard on your gloves typing on a laptop in a tent on the side of a mountain in a snowstorm without chocolate biscuits! sad

If you're making a cuppa then be careful not to melt that snow that comes from where the Yeti stands each morning okay!  smile  Tea made from the Snow from where he squats each evening will compliment your bikkies! smile

My next goal is 365 hubs.  Actually, I want 365 and 1/4, but the 1/4 hub won't show up in stats so you'll have to take my word on that one. If'd like to  do that before my two year anniversary.

The trouble with that goal is that the obvious next one - 730 or 730 and 1/2, is so far away..

500 is not a bad target.

I would like to stop now and enjoy the symmetry and alliteration of my current "three-thirty-three", but alas, I have the 334th written in TextEdit and will be using it later tonight to show the members of our local "Writer's Club" how they too can enjoy HubPages.

So, having ruined that opportunity to rest, I'll have to trudge ever onward..

Lot's of little targets - that's the way to do it.  345 sounds good.

Well i'll trust you when you tell me the 1/4 is written :p Why the quarter though? If you don't mind me asking? big_smile Ooooh when is your two year anniversary? I've not read your's ***tootles off to read some***

That is a lot of hubs, i think 100 in a year is realistic, just got keep doing them.

      1. Pcunix profile image83

365 and 1/4 days in a year.. more or less.

Oooooh that is a good shout, I'm liking that thinking, wonder if i could write that many in a year, it would take some dedication.

Sorry about that.. I just realized that your avatar is a cat not a tent.. I need glasses I think! smile

diplessposted 13 years agoin reply to this

No stress, I'll not pretend i wasn't a little confused but even so :p I must say my poor kitty has never been mistaken for a tent before, he'll be flattered well he would if he was still with us sad

    2. Mark Ewbie profile image61
Mark Ewbieposted 13 years agoin reply to this

I knew it was a cat because I had a look earlier.  And then you said a tent so I assumed it was a tent.  Someone's been putting magic mushrooms in the eggnog.

      1. dipless profile image71
diplessposted 13 years agoin reply to this

Nope that's not magic mushrooms in the eggnog, that's where the yetti has been squatting :p  ooooh another hubber to check out. smile

Ah.  The benefits of a forum post.  "Look at me".

For once though I was just commenting on the cat / tent debacle.

            Haha indeed smile

The cat/tent debacle is very funny though Phoenix would be honoured he has caused so much to giggle at :p

Actually, I had better traffic when I had half the number of hubs I have now.  I'm back to where I was after being here only a few months with only 30 something hubs.  Nothing is certain here as far as planning for the future of your articles is concerned.  It can, and does in my case, change literally overnight.  But good luck anyway!  smile

    1. dipless profile image71
diplessposted 13 years agoin reply to this

That is very strange, is it to do with the where the traffic was coming from? Or just one of those things? I'll just keep writing what i enjoy and see what comes of that smile Good luck to you, you must be doing something right, a hubber score of 100... in my dreams :p

      1. Randy Godwin profile image60
Randy Godwinposted 13 years agoin reply to this

So far, no one has been able to tell me what exactly happened.  Google themselves said there was no manual penalty on my hubs but Google.com traffic is what suddenly vanished.  Apparently the bots found something somewhere they didn't like.  Who knows?  smile

The 100?  No one knows how it is figured either.  Sort of a slap in the face at the present time.  mad

        1. dipless profile image71
diplessposted 13 years agoin reply to this

sorry it's taken me a while to reply, spent a few days with the missus smile That is very odd,  so all traffic form .com has stopped what about the other google domains? I know that location comes into the equation of relevance with google, but absolutely no traffic is very odd, I hope it picks up for you soon big_smile

Indeed it is a bit of a mystery, I am stuck anywhere between 85-93 just can't break that barrier smile one day

Congratz dipless! Good work, Im betting with the quality of your hubs you will hit 100k visits before 100 hubs!

Unless you work your butt off writing 2-5 a day, then you will reach 100 hubs first =P

    Best of Luck,

    ~thranax~

Thranax, thank you so much that is very kind of you. I think it will be most likely 2-3 per week, so we shall see.

Congrats on making 50 Hubs! big_smile That's great!

My current goal is 10. I don't think I'll be able to make it before the year is out, but I want to publish at least one more before the end of 2011!
