A while back, Amazon sent me a message that they could no longer pay through their ad program because I lived in Arkansas. I believe this also applied to California. When Ebay decided to start actually approving people, I began using their capsules more, excluding many Amazon. The Hubpages ad program came into effect and I signed up for it.
Did the HP ad program eliminate the Amazon exclusion for certain states?
As of now, you cannot utilize amazon sales for income.
HP has said that they are working on a site wide change to the whole amazon affiliate thing; that when completed everyone will be able to earn via amazon capsules. It will also put everyone in or near the top tier for earnings.
I haven't seen anything new on the project for weeks now, however, and I'm not sure but what the whole thing has died. Amazon may have pulled their agreement , HP may have decided they can't make it work or maybe HP took to heart the complaints of those hubbers that claimed it will cost them large sums to go with the HP plan.
I certainly hope there is a solution someday. Of course, I don't count on this for an income either. But the HP ad program has worked in the positive for me, verses the old Google thing. Again, I'm not savvy to the lingo and understanding of it all, I just know what's looking better now.
